Why this exists
Made for relatives, wherever life has taken them.
A family story is bigger than a tree.
Names and dates can show where one line meets another. The details that make those lives real often live somewhere else: in a handwritten note, a place remembered, a photograph passed down, or a story someone heard at the kitchen table.
The Huge Family is a place to bring those pieces together. We want it to help relatives find shared roots, ask better questions, and leave something meaningful for the next generation.
Different branches, one invitation.
We don’t assume that everyone with the Huge name is closely related. We’re here to make it easier to compare what we know and find out where the connections really are.
A careful archive, built together.
Family history is personal. The public pages focus on historical connections and shared stories. Details about living people belong here only when those people choose to share them.
Nothing here can replace the sources behind a family record. The lines shown on the connections page are leads from the current family tree, shared as a starting point for conversation and further research.
